Dr. Johnson began her professional career as a Pharmaceutical Chemist and brings over twenty years of educational experience, having served in the capacity of curriculum director, assistant principal, principal, and assistant superintendent. Dr. Johnson has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, a Master of Science degree in Secondary Education, and a 6th year Certificate of Advanced Studies. She completed her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Bridgeport, where she serves as an Adjunct Faculty member. In addition, she earned the Superintendence Certification from the University of Connecticut.
Dr. Johnson enjoys volunteering in the community and belongs to several civic organizations including, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and the Links, Incorporated.
